The village of Firle is a thriving community with a Village Shop and post office, a pub called The Ram and the Church of St. Peters.

Line Dancing takes place in our village hall every Monday evening starting at 7.30pm.

First Thursday in the month the Bonfire Society hold a Bingo night starting at 8pm at the Village Hall.

Second Wednesday in the month is the Firle & Beddinghams W.I. This is held in our village hall starting at 7.30pm.

The Saturday before November 5th we hold our own Bonfire Celebration that take up the whole of the day . With the building of the bonfire, then the Guy Competition at Lunch time. The at 5.30 at the village hall there is a fancy dress competition for the children of the society. And where two young Valencians are chosen to lead the procession and start are bonfire night off at 7pm.
